I generally start with your home page and write custom and unique content that is full of the keywords and phrases that your customers might search to find you. Second, behind the copy on your site is the other content. You can name the photos on your site with your keywords to get additional help in the rankings. What you choose to use in titles and headlines is also important. Next is your Google My Business listing, have you claimed your business? Are you verified? Is the information correct? These are huge factors that contribute to your ability to show up in the local search rankings. Once you have all that done you should start building citations (Places on the web where your business name, address, and phone number are referenced) for your business, then backlinks (other sites with high authority pointing back to your site), and social media.
